Commodity trading update

ive been back in the markets for around 6 weeks now.... at least thats how long ive been charting them...

it seems that im now rounding into form, rather nicely.......

currently long 2 may wheat/short 2 may corn (49 cents) to the spread...

spread currently working at 47.75, so im down 1.25 cents on 2 spreads, this means that im down (-$125) in this trade..

however last friday, i began to use a strategy that ive been working on...

currently it is 2-0 and has this trade pending.......

using this exact criteria, i would be 16-1 with this trade pending over the last 17 trades that ive made or followed.......

so its easy to see that im very excited by this.......

hard to explain this to anyone but it has been working rather nicely, even if i have only made 3 real trades with it.......

as i go along, im finding that ill be spending most of my time in the Grain markets.......

took profits on this spread today......

another winning trade.......

3 for 3, with me actaully using this strategy and it has been a winner in 17 of last 18 trades that ive tracked....

simple strategy of putting a trade on a trending market, risking $800 to $1000 to make $300.......

doesnt make sense money management wise but this is not sports wagering and sometimes trades have to be given room......

think i may have found a long time, long term money maker here......

I noticed that sugar hit a low around 10.07 or something a little over a week ago, and it had gone up to around 11.15 today.........somebody got paid on that deal. Speaking of getting paid...
Lots of people in the know get paid in the markets....lots of people have information before it hits the news..these are the people that make money. The news is actually late news, and yet people play off of the news. The longer I think about it-the more it seems like the elite just play around with the joes/squares in markets....feels like you have to be on the right side of a fixed mid week MEAC game. Things just seem manipulated...

and great job so far. keep it up and don't forget trading is a losing game.... i finished the POP a few weeks ago..where is that guy now?

i trade nothing off the news, only charts and prices for me.......

in all seriousness,,,,,,,,,,, if i just dont completely screw the entry, i think that i can make my profit target almost every time......

take this last trade as a good example.......... ive been in and out of this corn/wheat spread several times over the last few weeks, so im quite familiar with it........

this spread worked under 50,,,,,,,,,,,,, i put the spread on at 49 cents (this time hoping that it widened back out),,,,, it immediatly went against me 5 cents (-$500 because i had 2 of them) however my stoploss was 39 cents, it didnt get close to that and immediately went back over 50 and in 2 days i had my profit and closed the trade.......

im trying to now just work ---- one trade at a time, have my profit target and stoploss in the market and just let it go............... if i had done this from day one (34 days ago),,,,,,,, id have 17 winning trades of $300 and one losing trade........

its all in chart and price reading for me,,,,,,,,,,, simply know the supp and res levels, mix in a few bollinger band readings and buy the Up trending markets on pullbacks and sell the down trending markets on rallys......

i own a convenience store currently............ this allows me to follow the markets all day long by computer, television and broker..........

i have an 18 month plan to become a fulltime trader, culminating with the sale of my store......

i am 34 days into a 540 day plan but i have a lot to accomplish along the way.........

Just getting back into trading myself after a long layoff due to some health issues.

I have a fraternity brother that took a job as a stock broker after college. He met a man that sold trading courses worldwide and started to follow the commodity markets. It took him about 2 years to get rid of his job. Last I heard he was on a boat for the last year traveling the world.
